Singapore Tourism Attractions
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so when the sun sets, it is time for Jack to come out and play! When it comes to nightlife in Singapore, you are spoilt for choice. You can choose to party, shop, eat, catch a movie or even go on a Night Safari Tour.
So, what is so fun in Night Safari?
Night Safari
Singapore Night Safari, being the world’s first night zoo established in 1991. Being the winner of the Singapore Tourism Awards Best Leisure Attraction Experience, it promises close encounters with creatures of the night in their nocturnal habitats. You will be seeing over 900 nocturnal animals from 130 species get up to after dusk, in naturalistic habitats and without barriers, via the use of special lighting techniques.
Hopping on an open tram would be a wise decision! This tram would bring you around this tropical jungle of 40hectares, adjoining the zoo, passing a large reservoir and weaving through habitats specially designed to replicate the Himalayan Foothills, Asian Riverine Forest and Indian Subcontinent. Stay sharp while you’re on the tram to look out for the majestic lions gnawing on their meat dinners, coy mountain deer striking poses and, if you’re lucky, you can also get to see a noisy rhino taking a bath!

For the sporty groups, you can always take one of the three walking trails to explore the park. Do stay alert as you walk by the Forest Giant Trail – it is a free-ranging bat enclosure. (Psst, there’s always dangling bats hanging here and there!) Also there are other trails that can let you get close to flying squirrels and a leopard or two.

For the ones who are more interested in art performances, the hourly Creatures of the Night show is definitely worth a look! But do note that you’re not advice to use flash when you’re taking photos as it will scare the animals.

Nevertheless, your kids can also get their favourite animal soft toys from the animal-themed souvenir shops located near Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant and right beside Ben & Jerry’s.
You can download the Night Safari Map here, or grab it at Night Safari itself!
Singapore's Night Safari is also special as we have events held in Night Safari itself, such as Halloween Night, where you can get to dress up in their favourite Halloween costume to join in their costume wearing competition, or you can head down straight to Night Safari to join in the fun with the team of "ghosts" who's hiding somewhere in the bushes getting to ambush you! You will definitely have lots of fun over there during the Halloween Night, and also try their special design food for Halloween, such as the bloody eye mocktail, the skeleton burger and even the spider design cake!

Singapore Flyer
For those who are more interested in sight-seeing activities, you may want to visit the Singapore flyer – the world’s second largest Giant Observation Wheel. It stands at a height of 165 meters with 28 capsules, and a unique 360 day-to-night panoramic view of Singapore, from the fast-changing Marina Bay that is transforming by the minute, to the islands of Malaysia and Indonesia at every turn of the Wheel. It is the best vantage point of Singapore to see and feel the vibrancy of the beautiful and colorful city.

You can always celebrate your birthday on top of the world with your birthday party held on the Singapore Flyer. Your kids and their friends can be entertained either by a balloonist, storyteller or interactive gamer. Boyfriend can also bring their girlfriend up on this romantic sky cupid capsule to enjoy Sky Dining and Champagne Flights. And who knows? Maybe you’ll succeed in your marriage proposal on board this cupid capsule!

East Coast Park
Singapore being a green city, with all four sides surrounded by coast, thus naturally seaside’s view will be one of the sunset ‘must-see’ attraction for nightlife.
Singapore’s East Coast Park, popularly known as ECP is a place for tourists who are into sports and adventures. Tourists can easily rent a bike at ECP as it is very accessible with bicycle shops located along the stretch of ECP. For families, there’s nothing to worry, as your kids can easily rent a bicycle with or without the side wheels. The cycling tracks run right through the park in a contiguous stretch along the coastline giving a fantastic view of the sea and are very well maintained. For those who do not like to cycle, roller blades are also available on hire. There are coaches who provide guidance and skating classes on additional charges. Overnight renting of bicycles are also available at a higher cost, but it is definitely worth the price!

When cycling along the stretch of ECP, you will find many seafood restaurants there. Hop in one of the seafood restaurants and you will never regret getting in there. My personal favourite is Jumbo Seafood Restaurant, but there are also other famous restaurants there such as Little Red house and Lagoon Seafood Centre. The ones in Changi Village (near Changi Beach Park) are relatively cheaper than those at East Coast Park. So, for people who are interested, you can always cycle all the way to Changi Beach Park which is located 12-18km away from East Coast Park, depending on where you start. (You wouldn’t mind the long distance if you’re seeking for cheap and good food!!) After the good food there, you can have a walk on the Changi Boardwalk.

After the good food over at the restaurants, you can head towards the Ski360° to ski and wakeboarding without getting down into the sea!
