With the second most favourite pastime next to eating in Singapore, shopping is like a passion in this exotic island. Not surprisingly, Singapore is fondly called the paradise of shopping.
It would not be wrong to say that it is the awesome shopping experience that makes Singapore one of the most sought-after destinations. Many tourists come here for the sole purpose of shopping.

Chinatown Night Market offers a rich variety of goods, often Chinese related which you can get at an affordable price. You should not be surprised as they offer a mixture of modern goods as well, such as street fashion and jewellery. It is also a well preserved place with many of its old buildings still retained.
There are hundreds of market stalls lining places such as the well-known Trengganu street where they sell a wide range of collectibles. Being one of the busiest of Singapore streets, Little India is mostly visited by tourists and local shoppers. Located on Syed Alwi Road in Little India, this place boasts the famous Mustafa Centre, the only 24-hour shopping mall in Singapore!
If you’re looking for cheap and affordable goods, then this is the place to be as it caters mainly to the budget market. The department store at Mustafa Centre consists of two shopping centres: one retailing jewellery and household appliances, and has a supermarket; and the other selling books, CDs and DVDs, watches, electronic goods, footwear and clothing. Bugis
Bugis Junction is Singapore's teenage haven, built around the restored shophouses of Hylam and Malay Streets. Also known as Parco Bugis Junction, it is Singapore’s first glass-covered, air-conditioned shopping street. Here, you can find little shops selling everything from electronics to clothes, to accessories in this modern complex! There are department stores such as BHG as well as other mini stores. It is best visited in the evenings when the alleyways come alive.
